How long does it take to compost fresh cow dung?
Composting process starts in two weeks and final compost will be ready in about 5 months.
What is the shelf life of this manure?
There is actually no shelf life or expiry date for the manure. We suggest you to use it with in 6 months from the date of packing. Over the period of time, the micro-organisms may decay but still manure will add bio-mass to the soil and improve the soil health.
What is the difference between this compost manure and vermi-compost?
Our compost is made with naturally formed grub worms. Vermi compost is made with the help of red worms or red wigglers. These worms need to be purchased from market and used for composting. The raw material for vermi compost can be any organic matter. Essentially both manure and vermi-compost yeild same results.

3% Nitrogen, 2% Phosphorus, and 1% Potassium (3-2-1 NPK).
Why desi cow dung manure is better than regular cow dung manure?
Desi cow dung is rich in beneficial bacterias and micro-organisms compared to regular hybrid cow dung. Desi cow dung is more solid compared to regular cow dung. This helps desi cow dung compost quickly with good quality.
Should we need to add cocopeat also along with manure?
It depends on how compact the soil is. If soil is compact and lacks biomass, adding cocopeat will help but cocopeat does not have nutrients in it. Cow dung manure also adds bio-mass to the soil. You can add coco-peat along with compost manure. Both will keep soil loose and improve moisture holding capacity and aeration.
